I use this product to shave with because it is completely free of chemicals. It took me awhile to get used to because it's not like the gels or creams that I was used to. It's almost like it puts a protective coat on your skin. You can't really see it. It has clumps of solid and lots of oil in the jar. You don't need a lot, and my instinct is to use a lot of gel. I'm still not sure if i am supposed to mix the solid clumps into the oil somehow?<br /><br /> Nonetheless, since I have started using this product I have not gotten any razor bumps, cuts, or burn. My skin stays soft. It's still a little weird to shave with though because i'm used to the lather. While I still buy it and use it as my first choice the only other thing that I don't like other than the lack of lather is that it does make the hair stick in the razor. I have to continuously tap the razor on the tub bottom pretty hard to get the hair out. That's kinda annoying. Nonoetheless it's worth it for no razpr bumps, burn, or cuts. People always compliment me on my soft skin. I have not tried this product to remove my makeup.
