If you want your hair to be more blue than black then you have to prelighten it. I have used this dye two seperate times and each time my hair was prelightened to a medium-light blonde color and came out a beautiful blue color.

My favorite color, Midnight Muse. The most beautiful blue black I have ever found! The product is outstanding, and leaves my hair feeling healthier ! It was nice to be able to purchase multiple box packs.

I received this product free as part of a campaign for my honest opinion. I've always loved blue-blacks. This one is no exception! It has a beautiful shine and color once its done. It easily came off my skin my hair looks beautiful. I will be purchasing more Vidal Sassoon London Luxe colors in the future.
