This has been the best beauty blender I've ever used
This has been the best beauty blender I've ever used! It expands to a larger size and is really soft. Some other beauty blenders stay really firm no matter how wet you get them, but this one wasn't too firm at all. It is also super easy to clean and looks brand new! Some other beauty blenders keep some of the makeup shade on them no matter how well you clean them, but this one looks brand new once you clean it. I will be buying again if anything happens to this one!

Blends makeup beautifully once you know how to use it!
I have had my eye on the makeup blender sponges at Ulta, but just couldnโt justify the price. This is a much more affordable option and it has a very feminine, pretty packaging. I havenโt tried the more expensive ones to be able to compare them, but I can compare the effects of this sponge compared to my nice makeup brushes.<br /><br />The first day I used the sponge I was really disappointed. I dipped it in water and dried it off on a towel and put my makeup (It cosmetics CC cream) on the big end of the sponge. Then I used it to rub the makeup all over my face. And there was very little makeup on my face! I was thinking I wasted my money. Then I put the sponge in water to try to clean it off and it expanded A LOT โ over half an inch in length and so much in diameter that it would no longer fit inside the packaging. I figured I had used it wrong. I put on my makeup with my brushes and decided to seek more information on how to use the sponge for the next day.<br /><br />Before trying my sponge the second day, I watched a few YouTube videos on how to use makeup blender sponges. I had definitely used it wrong the first day! It is important to get the sponge really wet and fully expanded before using it to help keep the sponge from absorbing your makeup. So this time I let it fully expand in the water then blotted it dry on a towel. I then used it to blot my makeup all over my face. This technique actually worked.<br /><br />After playing around with different methods, I have found that spotting my face with the makeup first and then using the sponge to blot it all over my face before the makeup dries works the best. I get a nice airbrushed finish without streaks from a brush. It has also helped me to not put on too much makeup. With the brushes I was having problems with having excess makeup in certain areas of my face. By the end of the day my hands and everything in sight would be covered in makeup! With the sponge I havenโt had this issue โ it seems to really help the makeup blend into your skin and not just pile up and rub off.<br /><br />I did receive this item at a discounted rate in exchange for an honest review. I have been pleased with how it works and would recommend it to others who are interested in the makeup blender sponges but donโt want to waste money on the pricey name-brand ones or on cheaper ones that donโt work.

Good BB Alternative
Having tried the Beauty Blender sponges, I was looking for a cheaper alternative. This one fits the bill VERY well. It's the closest in texture to the BB that I have found yet. I find that it blends my makeup just as well as my BB at less than 1/3 of the price! It's just a little bit larger than the BB, compared side-by-side, when wet and I like that. I will definitely be repurchasing when I wear this one out. I have had it for a week and used/washed it four times, so far, and it's holding up perfectly.
I love that it is infused with Vitamin E
This is the softest beauty blender I have used! I love that it is infused with Vitamin E. If you have never used one of these, you should definitely try it. It blends your makeup evenly and you don't use as much product. Just be sure to wet the sponge first and just use it for blending, not application. I learned that lesson the hard way. I tried putting my BB cream directly on the sponge and found that it soaked up a ton of the product. However, if I applied the BB cream with my fingers and then used the sponge just for blending, it worked much better.

First time user, impressed with application
This is my first time using a make up sponge and I was highly impressed. I used liquid foundation a couple years ago and couldn't get a smooth application. My fingers left my face looking splotchy and a foundation brush applied the liquid too thick. I switched to mineral powder foundation for better coverage, but it's messy and not travel friendly. I saw this and wanted to try it. I have no other brands to compare it to, but these are my impressions: It's about the size of an egg, it becomes nice and soft and expands when submerged in water. I watched a couple youtube videos for guidance on the technique. I put some liquid makeup on the back side of my hand and dabbed it on. I had great coverage after about two layers. The sponge provided good coverage for my redness and I did't get any irritation like I normally do from my mineral brush sweeping across my sensitive skin. Overall, I am really glad I purchased this. It seems like a good density sponge that won't fall apart. The packaging says this should be washed after every use and replaced every two months. I'm looking forward to taking it on my upcoming trip and not worrying about all my mineral make up sifting through the lid during travel! I received this item at a discount in exchange for my review, but will definitely purchase again before paying 3 times the cost for other brands sold at high end make up stores.
