99J, How to use as top piece
99J is a much darker red than pictured, but a very beautiful color. Even my pics look too light, almost auburn & not the very deep burgundy or black cherry color I received. At first glance, this appears unusable due to the very large seam showing in back & I almost sent it back. But I sprayed on liquid hair gel at the roots, teased it with my fingers, & used hair dryer heat to make the roots stick straight up, giving them lift, & also making the hair also flip backwards, which seemed impossible to do at first glance. I have now managed to cover that awful seam, transformed it from stiff, flat & boring to full, natural-looking & silky with no seams showing anywhere.<br />I may order another one to color a little lighter to wear when my red shade fades. I will take a pic of what it first looks like. I have colored many hair pieces, sometimes lightening them first with a color remover like color zap. I also curl them to match my own hair. Will attach styled pics of front, top, back, & underneath. I also saw online a spray-on color in dark red for roots that might help camouflage the seam.
