This is perfect for detangling or just combing coily hair. I actually got it for my toddler whose hair is thick and coily. Very sturdy but comfortable at the same time. I particularly like that the edge/ends of the teeth are smooth and thick, and not sharp or bristle. The hanging feature is very convenient!
