I have scalp psoriasis and heat from a hair dryer can really irritate it. My hair is also very dry. I need a hair dryer that can dry my hair quickly to hold the style while being as cool as possible. After purchasing this hair dryer I had a little buyer's remorse. Based on some of the descriptions I thought that there are better quality ionic hair dryers out there for less. After purchasing one of those other hair dryers I thought would be better, I have decided to keep this one. I was also a bit miffed because it came without an outside Amazon box to protect it.<br /><br />Things this one does not do: 1) no instructions. 2) no way to clean air intake 3) high heat setting is too hot to be useful 4) warm setting cycles super hot to cool 5) it's not very light or small or quiet or portable.<br /><br />After using it a couple of times, I have found that I do rather like it. I can adjust the heat and air speed separately. The cheaper one I purchased did not do this. I needed a hair dryer that can dry my hair without much if any heat and it seems to do the job. It also does not seem to dry out my hair the way some other dryers do. I like is that the cool setting stays on without having to hold in a button. So I think it will work for me.
