Super simple!
Works perfect! Took maybe 5 minutes to switch out the old module with the new one. Looks identical to my OEM mod, lights are exact same blue as the rest of the interior lights. Super simple!

Worked great . I have a f150 2016 and it works. No programing needed . It is a plug and play. Took 5 minutes to take the old one out and put this new one in. You must have sync 3 update for it to work .
Easy replacement after i dumped a water bottle on a quick brake stop into the compartment. .
I used nylon interior trim removal tools, from Harbor Freight to get behind the bezel of the old one and it pops right out. Two quick release connectors, one for the USb one for power, snap it back into the opening and viola.. works great. I'm a heavy Apple IOS carplay user ( primarily maps) driving 100+ miles a day and the couple of days I was without it made me realize how much I rely on it.!
