Very economical. Works sufficiently. Some shaving soaps are extremely overpriced.<br />A 12 pack of these lasted me almost 2 years and I shave every morning.

The trick to using this soap is to soak it in some hot water during your shower with the brush (I prefer boar). After your shower, wet your face, dump out the water and flick out most of the water in your brush. Then swirl the brush on the soap for about 10 seconds to pick up some of the softened damp soap. After that, begin lathering on your wet face for 30 seconds to a minute, finishing with painting strokes to even it all out. Following this method will give you a smooth shave and you will find that one puck of this soap will last you months of daily use.
