Beautiful comb!
This comb is beautiful and well packaged for gift giving
This comb is beautiful and well packaged for gift giving. The tines are strong without being overly thick and are very smooth so they don't catch or splinter in your hair. The decorative design is fine and carved deeply enough that it would take a lot of wear to buff it out. The package it came in said ebony, but ebony wood should be black not brown (even though the brown wood grain is gorgeous) so it seems like the wood is mislabeled. It also doesn't seem to have the least little effect on whether my hair is full of static or not. The only other thing is that the underside of the comb in between the tines, is not sealed as is the rest of the comb. This may go without saying, but if your hair is even the slightest bit damp the comb will absorb that moisture and can warp or crack. Keep that in mind!

Beautifully crafted comb wood does take a little bit more care than plastic but it's much better for your hair bought it for my own long thick hair thinking of getting some as gifts
