This item is great for anyone who wants to add character to their costume or to just play dress up. I enjoy playing dress up with my daughter and we take turns wearing it! We like to pretend we are rock stars! The wig definitely makes us feel like a different person! When I wear it it tends to slide a little but I try to anchor it down with some bobby pins and that seems to do the trick. You can gently brush it and keep it maintained just like regular hair. It does shed a little bit but that is to be expected but at least it isn't such a hot mess! The black lays over the gray part pretty good for the most part for an ombre effect. It comes with a wig cap that you put on before you put the actual wig itself on. The wig cap helps to keep your hair under control without it sticking out everywhere which ruins the effect of the wig.
