Portable, sleek, and 2-in-1!
This iron is pretty awesome. I have short hair wavy hair and I've used it for both curling and straightening. It heats up quickly! I traveled with it and the heat protective bag that came with it is a life saver. It has a sleek design and feels really lightweight in your hand. It comes with sectioning clips as well. The only thing that bothered me was clicking the buttons as you are styling. But this is remedied by holding the temperature button so that the iron is place in sort of like a lock mode. The buttons are still a little annoying. But overall, I find the annoyance very easy to overlook because the iron's portability, design, and ability to straighten and curl. I was given a promotional discount to review this item but that has not affected my ability to rate this item fairly. I think this item is worth it. Conair has a similar product for travel but it's ugly and doesn't curl. When I compared the products, that weighed heavily on my decision.

It takes a little playing with to get it figured out like any hair tool, but I really like it and its excellent for traveling so I Dont have to pack numerous hair tools. It's sleek and small. would def order again.

This tool is AMAZING.<br /><br />I was looking for a curling wand that ideally combines curling and straightening in one tool and is not too big so that it's travel-friendly, i.e. takes up as little space as possible while offering as many options as possible. Also, I needed my tool to be dual-voltage to be able to use it in Europe. This wand is everything that I asked for (it measures about 9.5 in by the way!<br /><br />It is also of very high quality in every respect and comes in an elegant box with a heat-resistant travel pouch and four hair clips. It is very easy to use and offers temperatures from 250-400ยฐF, adjustable in 25ยฐ steps in a digital display.<br /><br />Last but not least, I am also very happy with the results!
My hairdresser was impressed!
I wanted to be able to straighten parts of my hair and curl other parts and this seemed like a very sensible way to do both. My hairdresser had given me some guidelines for purchasing a flat-iron (since I had never owned one before) and this product met all of her suggestions. After receiving the Magic Wand, I took it with me to my next hair appointment to show it to my hairdresser and she was very impressed with it and with the fact that included were the same exact clips she uses on her clients. I asked if she would like to use it on my hair (and give me some pointers) and she was delighted to be able to try it. It heats up very quickly and does a beautiful job. For someone who uses professional (expensive) tools to be impressed made me doubly happy I had chosen Xtava. Thank you for creating such a great product!
