The beauty of a Yak Horn Hair Stick
This gorgeous hair stick arrived much quicker than I anticipated, which was wonderful, because I had been hoping to be able to see what my FIRST hair stick made of Yak Horn might actually look and feel like. It has a nice weight to it...not tooooo heavy, not tooo lightweight. The horn has a nice feel to it...so smoooth and shiny. You can see the light through it, so it has that wonderful quality to it. This one is a little bit more curved in the leaf tip than the one in the photo, which is also a plus. I wanted one made of horn or bone so I could be able to wear it in even damp hair, which you cannot do with wood or metal...for fear of warping the wood or rusting the metal. I am so happy that I decided to buy this Yak Horn Hair Stick. I am just growing my hair long again and this will be getting a LOT of use! It is SO beautiful and much more ready to be used than the wooden ones I own. You won't go wrong with getting one of these.
