Fiance loved the kit, but bottle of base coat came broken
Per my fiancรฉ who got this as a gift: The kit is decent, though the bottle of base coat came broken, and the light is tiny and doesn't stay on very long, so we'll likely need to replace it with something better. If you've seen this stuff on social media, and are unsure if it's for you, this is a good starter kit that'll include the basics you need to get started. Overall the kit is decent for the money, and to get you started, but be prepared to upgrade things as you learn to use the kit.<br /><br />EDIT: A short period of time after posting this review and sending feedback to the seller, they reached back out to me and are sending a replacement to the basecoat, and a couple of extra topcoats for the trouble. Awesome customer service! I'm upping my review to a 4 star, holding short of a 5 star just because of the problem with the light. I'd give them a 4.5 if I could, especially since several other reviewers already called out the situation with the light (it's pretty small, which isn't evident in the photos, and it shuts off very quickly). Just understand you're getting a "starter" kit, and the light is the first thing you'll probably want to replace, and you're likely to have a 4-5 star experience.
