I use it with lemon essential oil. One thing worth noting, which comes with the directions- Don't fill it too high or it won't make mist until you pour out some of the water. Easy to use; simple to control.

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because description said that it runs for 8-10 hours, but on continuous it runs for 4-5 hours. I am guessing that the time listed in the description is for the intermittent setting. The diffuser is really beautiful, so when not in use it is a great decorative piece. It is quiet and easy to use. I love it, I just wish it ran longer continuously.
