Still getting the hang of how to properly apply this, and get my parting juuust right so it will all fit on my head.<br /><br />I was skeptical at first because it was synthetic hair...but I wanted to try it out and wow! I received nothing but compliments while wearing it! I was afraid of it being able to pass, from how shiny it was compared to my own hair (I'm black by the way haha), but it worked!<br /><br />I love how wide it is near the middle, to simulate hair body, and the way it tapers at the end with a very slight curve.<br /><br />I have to press my natural hair with heat in order for it to be straightened, so my hair texture is different from the wig--but applying some oil (Africa's Best-Ultimate Herbal Oil...which ironically, is made in America lol), really helped add shine to my own hair so it matched with the wig's shine.<br /><br />My only gripe is my head seems to be a bit too small for all the clips to fit perfectly around its shape--but that may just be me getting that U shaped part all wrong haha So I'll keep working on that!!<br /><br />Oh yeah, this wig is pretty weighty, but thank goodness the clips feel heavy duty-ish to handle it. They are definitely felt throughout the day while wearing, but once I get used to their tug, I should end up forgetting they're even in my hair.<br /><br />Edit!: After a month + of use, I noticed the clips may have been pulling some hair from my scalp out and left it a little tender.<br /><br />Overall, this half wig is fantastic for short term use. As for long term, a full headed wig is a lot less stress on my hair and my noggin.<br /><br />And yes, the day my mother saw me wearing this half-wig in a braid, she thought it was my real hair. When I undid the braid and wore it as a straight ponytail, I thought ‘This is it. She’s going to notice how thick and straight it is and KNOW it’s not real.’<br /><br />I spent the whole day waiting for a call out that never happened. She probably just thought I grew my hair out.
