I have been struggling with hair loss and thinning hair most of my adult life. My hair is super thin at the crown with bald patches and receding hairline. I've tried many 'affordable wigs' lace front, old school and can only afford synthetic. Also everything I have tried in my price range looks like a wig and needs a lot of finessing only to have them irritate, itch, and just be really uncomfortable for everyday wear. I've also botched many a wigs in the process.<br /><br />This unit is comfortable to wear and blended in pretty well, but not perfect with my own hair color. I love the unit enough to dye my hair to match. Hair density is medium, not too thick and not too thin. I was worried about the black cap showing through especially in the front, but it does not.<br /><br />There is 2 clips in the front which are less damaging than combs and 1 in the back. I removed the front clips and hot glued them to the sides because of my hair line I can only use wig tape. The part is decent as is especially if you have a very fair complexion , if not it can be easily adjusted with concealer and powder, and tweezed to your liking.<br /><br />It comes silky and shiny and crimped from packaging. I recommend giving it a good wash and conditioning, hang to dry, then dry shampoo to kill the shine.<br /><br />Curls and straightens on low heat pretty well. Minimal shedding and tangling.<br /><br />TL:DR<br />I like this hair topper very much, best one I have tried in the under $50 price range. I will be purchasing back ups.
