For Short Hair Only!

My hair is just about too long for these, so I won't be getting much use out of them. These do not look like it would be easy to achieve spiral curls with these rollers, because they roll straight on themselves like regular rollers, and do not come looking spiral like the advertisement picture suggests! I feel mislead! I'm sure I could try to get the outcome to look spiral but I do not have high hopes. I would suggest a different product that arrives looking just like the picture in advertisement.

Short Hair Only

My hair is naturally curly so , I wanted to see how it would do on a blowout. I like the curly pattern that it creates the only problem I had was my hair was to long for this, pulling your hair threw with the hook that's given was easy. It did not hurt to pull your hair threw the spiral curlers.

Takes some practice to get right

I've seen these type of curlers around for a while now and had been curious to try them out. However, upon opening them, I was disappointed by the size. If you have long hair and a lot of it, one pack will definitely not be enough, as is the case for me.<br />I was confused as to how to put them on. However, luckily for me, my sister knew how to do it since she had seen someone else try out this same style of curlers, but from another brand. Since she knew how to apply them, I told her to try them out for me and let me know, because I knew I'd end up frustrated.<br />Here's her take on them: They are tricky to apply at first and it takes a while to apply them, so make sure you have something else to keep you busy while you do this. However, once you know what you are doing, they're no longer tricky, but they are still time consuming. It takes time to section out the hair, put the curler in, roll it up, and repeat. Also, it is best if you do this at night if you are someone who has a sensitive head and is prone to headaches from wearing certain hairstyles. I put these on at around 3 p.m. and wore them for the rest of the day. After applying them, I was lounging around and watching a movie. Since I was laying down, I didn't notice any discomfort. However, once I was sitting up, it wasn't long before I felt a tension headache coming on. So, I would say that these are not good for someone who is sensitive to pressure from hairstyles. They don't look heavy, but there is a certain weight to having your hair "pulled" into the curler which can cause discomfort. I decided to sleep with them on, and was able to sleep just fine, since I didn't have any of the curlers directly on the back of my head. Upon taking them out, I had some nice curls, but I also had some wonky ones. I don't know the exact cause of that (rolled wrong, hair not pulled in correctly, moved during sleep, etc). However, I still liked the results and the curls held up for me, despite not having using any curling cream, gel, or anything.<br />All in all, they're a good product to try out and they allow you to get some curls without heat styling, but they can be tricky to use.
