Good hold on mask ear loops

zelaxy Mask Strap Extenders I find these extenders are necessary when wearing medical masks because the ear loops are often too long for me. I had to use the slots closest to the middle to ensure masks fit snugly and don't fall down. I could just tie another loop to make the loops shorter but I prefer using these extenders because they hold the loops better. My ears are small. Loops tend to just get pulled out from behind my ears.

Versatile and comfortable

Many times wearing a mask also comes with the discomfort that the elastic bands can cause to some one’s ears. I found that the Zelaxy Mask extenders do help with the comfort level. The pack of Mask extenders I have contained 5 extenders; black, white, pink, green and blue. The Eagle (it has little ‘wings’ that the elastic strap wraps around) model that I have is made out of soft silicon which makes the extender comfortable to wear around a person’s head. The extender is stretchy enough to get on fairly easily, it also has multiple ‘stops’ in order to control tightness of a mask and the extender is thick enough so it won’t snap under normal use. The ‘standard’ way of wearing the extender, that being directly behind the ears, works fine. This extender is also versatile enough to allow the extender to be worn around the neck so that both elastic bands from the mask fall below the ear while still providing good support. There is one unexpected issue; longer hair can sometimes complicate putting on the extender as longer hair can more easily get caught up in the ‘wings’. The bottom-line is that, for me, the Zelaxy extenders are comfortable to wear and they do help make it more comfortable to wear a mask throughout the day.

Perfect!

These strap extenders are perfect. I don't mind wearing a mask. I wear one at my part time job and when shopping. However most of the ear straps are annoying and either pinch the back of my ear or make me look like Dumbo. Anyhow these strap extenders take the pressure off the back of my ears and are easy to set up. Super product.

Saved the day!

It's crazy that items like these are essential now, but they are very needed. These little straps hold up well and they dont have issues of fraying mask fabric or make it difficult to remove the mask. These work very well to save your ears and make it easier to use masks for little ones that are a little too large for them. Thank you for these!

I like these the best of the different extenders I've tried

I was getting tired of mask bands making my ears stick out and dig into my ears, so I decided to try mask extenders. I tried three different kinds, all of which allow you to use different slots or nubs to adjust the effective length of the extender. Of the three extenders I tried, I thought this “wing” type would be my least favorite, but it turned out to be my #1. It’s not pretty, but it works the best, when compared to the types that have you put the elastic around round nubs and to the manually adjustable extender I tried. I prefer to wear the extender high up on the back of my head. This seems to be the best position for me to keep my mask in place and against my face all around. Because this extender is silicone, it doesn’t just slide down. There’s enough “stickiness” that it stays put. (I don’t mean it’s literally sticky, though.) The wings are big enough that once you loop your elastic around your choice of wing, it stays put. I can pop my mask on and off easily, and nearly all the time the elastic stays attached to the wings I’ve picked.

This extender can make mask-wearing less irritating.

The zelaxy Mask Strap Extenders are seven inches long and made of soft and comfortable silicone. This product has five curved hooks on each side that allow the user to adjust the mask's fit. You get five pieces, each in a different color: white, black, blue, green, and pink. The pastel green, blue, and pink extenders are pretty, and if you are careful to set it up correctly, the mask will stay put. On the other hand, if you do not place the loops firmly on the correct hooks, the mask may become dislodged. An extender is useful for relieving pressure on your ears and preventing slippage. The zelaxy extenders are an inexpensive and serviceable choice for those who must wear their masks for hours at a time.

Are Reasonably Comfortable

These hold well during use and don't pull too tight on the nose. However, they are maxed out for me (last hook on each side) for comfort and wouldn't want them any tighter. (my head - thick hair - 22" around) Even when pulling mask down around the neck, IF careful, stays connected. But if pulling down without care, of course the strap is disconnected. The silicone seems durable enough and doesn't pull my hair. This isn't a perfect situation, but I've not come across one that is. SOo = 4 stars
