Perfect for DIY sheet masks!
I love these!
I had read about doing lotion masks using cotton pads that peeled apart into layers, and bought the stuff to try it. It's good, and not hard to do, but takes a bit of time to prepare. So I bought these compressed sheet masks for doing quick lotion masks. I really like these. The compressed size makes it easy to travel with them, and they don't take up hardly any space when you store them. When you get them wet, they expand like the snake pellets you get on 4th of July. =)
I keep a shot glass in my bathroom just for doing quick lotion masks. I unwrap one of these compressed masks, toss it in the shot glass, then douse it with skin conditioner, hyaluronic acid lotion, and a bit of rose water. Once the mask is nice and saturated, I put it on my face for 3-5 minutes. (Since I like to listen to music while I'm getting ready, I leave the mask on for about the length of a song.)
The cotton material feels nice, not scratchy. When the sheet is wet it has enough stretch to cling to the face like it should. The fit is wide, the the nose flap is short. At least that's the fit on my face. I fix this by carefully cutting the excess width at my temples with scissors and placing one of strips I've cut over the end of my nose where the nose flap doesn't cover. The main thing I like about these is that the flaps on the eye holes are attached at the top. So, while I'm wearing the sheet mask, I can put the eye flaps on my eye lids so they get some moisture and still see what I'm doing. I really like that.
I plan on repurchasing these as soon as I run out.

a DIY option for the face mask skincare trend!
If you're way into Korean skincare trends around paper masks, but both on a budget and/or have super sensitive skin, these are the answer for you!! I have been having fun concocting different DIY versions of face masks that work really well and are much more cost effective than buying the premade types. To use, make a small shot glass worth of your mask ingredients, drop the paper pellet in, let it absorb- then very carefully unfold it and put it on your face.

* Skin brightening: Mix a pinch of [[ASIN:B005VEE5YM Vitamin C Powder, USP-Grade (L-ascorbic acid) Pure - 1.8oz / 50g]] with green tea
* Detoxifying: Lemon juice, warm water, and a pinch of [[ASIN:B01G0S3Y44 Matcha Green Tea Powder Organic ( Japanese Premium Culinary Grade ) - USDA & Vegan Certified - 30g (1.06 oz) - Perfect for Baking, Smoothies, Latte, Iced Tea, Herbal Teas. Gluten & Sugar Free]]
* Healing: warm water (or milk, depending on what works for your skin), honey, and [[ASIN:B0176Q6RE8 Zint Beef Collagen Powder (1 lb): Grass-Fed Hydrolyzed Non-GMO Protein Supplement]]
