Soap saver!
I bought these in an effort to be less wasteful. I use a bar soap, but often when only a little sliver is left it doesn't all get used - what a waste! If you put the sliver of leftover soap into one of these pouches, you can use up the last little bit. Every bit counts for a student on a budget!
Convenient for field use
I am currently a contractor in Afghanistan, using shared bathroom facilities with about 50 other females. We have to conserve water as much as possible, so traditional loofahs and body washes tend to be a bit wasteful. This little pouch holds a full-sized bar of soap and, when moistened, creates a nice lather. It exfoliates well and gets the dirt and grime of a dusty day in the desert off nicely. This pouch hangs to dry and I replace mine when the bar of soap if done.<br /><br />Great for travel, also.
