Goodbye Bobby Pins
I saw these mentioned in a magazine and thought I would give them a try. My cleaning lady complains about hair pins and bobby pins on the floor (they fall out of my bun) and with these, I don't need a pin! It took a couple of times to get the positioning right, but after that, piece of cake...don't even have to look in a mirror! WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!!!!
Creates a Nice Messy Up-Do Look
I really like these spin pins. You can insert them quickly and easily and they come out just as easy. I have fine, curly hair and get a great, messy up-do look with these pins with good staying power. I can see how you might not get the same hold if your hair is very fine and straight (as I've read in some reviews). My only complaint is that I've had to buy several pair because I invariably lose one of them when I put them down and they don't work alone. I've got them in my purse, my locker, my bathroom. They're great.

I have thick heavy hair that when put in a pony tail or bun at the gym or running, always falls out. Drives me nuts. I found these in a magazine article and searched for them. I love them! They really work and hold my hair where I out it making my workouts easier
Good for thick hair
I bought these on recommendation from some hair blogs, and they are definitely worth getting! Using these two spin pins in my hair buns saves me from a lot of extra "regular" pins, and they feel secure.
Great product idea
I have fine curly hair and purchased these just before summer to keep my hair off my neck in the sticky humidity. They work wonderfully and keep my<br />hair in place all day long. I have even used them at night and don't feel them at all when I am sleeping. The bonus is that they don't leave the bump it your hair that elastics do. Great product.
Far Better than Two Stars
I'm sorry that the first reviewer wasn't happy with this product... but she did mention that using several did work... and that's the trick! I bought the dark color first, then bought the blond set. My hair is straight and very long and I suspect that these pins work best with longer hair. My hair color is silvery blond with very dark under-color at the nape of my neck. I twist in the dark spirals from the bottom of bun upwards and then twist in two blond spirals from the top downwards. I angle the spirals to match whatever configuration my loosely twisted bun happens into... I have tried for a long time to get that casual up-do look but this is the first (and only) product that works for me and lets me feel comfortable enough to actually go out with my hair up and not be constantly worrying about it falling down!
Awesome Hair Accessory
These spiral bobby pins are the best! When I had long hair, these would keep my hair in place all day & they are so easy to use! Even putting my hair into a French Twist was simple! I highly recommend them & some of my friends are even hooked now.
