The powder is paper white color but when it applied to face it will be absorbed mostly and left my face with a lighter corrected effect. I am Asian relatively light beige tone.<br /><br />I used this product in hot summer in a humid city when I was traveling. Usually I applied this powder lightly once in the morning before I go outdoors. My face will feel comfortable and free to breathe and un-oily till later in the afternoon. if I need to continue till night I will re-apply once in late afternoon while I took a face wash otherwise it can last until I go back to my place.<br /><br />Generally I am an easy sweaty person and with this product I am so satisfied. One thing I also need to indicate that this product won't cause a dry skin feeling as long as I use a hydrating moisturizer skin care in the evening.

I'm pale like a ghost
I'm pale like a ghost. So pale that I have trouble buying foundation. (For reference, NC15 from MAC is a bit too dark and my skin is slightly warm-toned.) This stuff is also pale so it's fine on me but I can see this having a whitening effect on light-to-medium skin tones. If that's what you're going for, then you're in luck.<br /><br />I only use this in the summer very lightly after walking to work in 90 degrees or something like that since I tend to have dry skin and I don't want the powder to get cakey. It works on oily spots nicely. It has a clean scent. The compact is adorable like most K-beauty products. I really like the powder puff (it's a good size for the top of Ben Nye or RMCA bottle) and will keep that use that with other translucent powders.
