A bit of a learning curve

I desperately wanted this to work for my shoulder length hair, but it doesn't - through no fault of this product. It's designed well and works great on my daughter's long hair, just not on my shorter hair. The idea is that you clip the flat middle part of the "rod" to your head and wrap sections of your hair around the rod, securing the ends with the bands, then wrap the ends around/tie them. Leave it in your hair and in the morning/hours later, you take it out and you have beautiful beachy waves. This product works great on damp long hair. Not really on short hair.
