BEST SHAVER EVER
I had been using battery-based shavers for 50 years. They tend to loose power as the battery is recharged many times. This time I ordered the "corded" Norelco. It was much cheaper than the battery-based shaver, and does an excellent job. I am very pleased with it.
Great! Downside? Cord =/
It did the job for me, maybe couldn't shave one or two hairs but thats about it, everything feels smooth and nice, and my skin isn't as irritated as I thought it would be, only downside is the cord is so SHORT. So there's NO moving at all.
Great shaver - silly cord length and connection.
It truly is a pleasure using a shaver whose power is steady, unlike battery-powered ones that I've bought in the past. Knowing that this works on 110 and 220 lines, too, is comforting for travel. Fairly priced. It was received in only a couple of days! Considered buying the used/re-conditioned model to save [...] but was not convinced of the cleanliness. My only beef is with the super-short, coiled cord. Demanding that Norelco's customers stand within 18 to 24 inches of a plug doesn't make sense. Give me a cord twice that long and charge me an extra buck - I'd buy it and be a lot happier. I've had this only a month and the shaver stops a few times per week because the cord comes loose from the shaver. No way to lock it in. C'mon, Norelco engineers.
