Mirror mirror on my nails
I love this product so much! Once you catch the hang of the steps to take to get the best results you will be in love also. For the best results these are the steps that I took:<br />1. Shape nails and clean throughly, DO NOT APPLY OILS OR LOTIONS<br />2. Apply gel base and cure for 30 secs<br />3. Apply gel color and cure for 30-60 secs<br />4. Apply thin coat of no wipe gel top coat and cure for 30 secs<br />5. Apply powder using eye shadow brush and rub in completely over entire nail...apply a little pressure to make sure powder is sticking<br />6. Brush off any excess powder before applying a clear top coat and cure for 30-60 secs<br />7. After making sure that the nails are completely cured wipe off using a no lint cotton pad and alcohol

Ladies this is an update after reading other reviews, if you are get glitter look top coat not cured enough, try that!
I was so excited to get this new glitter powder! Came in 7 days. I have put on color, taken it off numerous times to see what works the best. I am a pro at it now!<br />Here are step by step that you HAVE TO DO to get it to turn out. I am working on getting coats thinner. I know they will look even better after that.<br />1. Base Coat and UV Light<br />2. I used Black and two of the samples are grey. One THIN coat and UV Light.<br />3. Second THIN black coat and UV Light.<br />4. No wipe top coat. This is a must!!! One thin coat and UV Light.<br />5. Pick a color of the Glitter Powder. All they have is numbers on the small containers so I did practice ones on some fingernail rings I had. My nails pictured are silver at base and blue at top. Pictured in the shade when you see grass. Pictures in the sun when you see concrete.<br />6. None wipe top coat and UV Light.<br />Tricks: a makeup brush works good to get color on nail. I found if I dipped a finger lightly in powdered and put it on with my finger the color got more true to color.<br />The picture of the two grey ones are first one base coat black, second used grey base coat.<br />These are not in numerical order:<br />005 Silver<br />002 Light Blue<br />011 Dark Blue<br />009 Purple<br />008 Teal<br />005 Dark Purple<br />012 Rose Gold<br />006 Pink<br />003 Green<br />007 Goldish Green<br />004 Royal Blue<br />001 Dark Green<br />These were all with just one coat of nail glitter. If you repeat glitter and top coat again will be more vibrant. My nails you see have been on my hands for 4 days! I have washed floors, did cleaning and still nice enough to go to a wedding! I have NEVER had so many compliments on my nails.<br />I can't stress enough thin, thin, thin coats. Like I said I need to work on that myself!<br />Would I buy it again? A big YES!!!<br />Prior to buying this product I tried eye shadow, nope. I tried 100% pigment, nope. Has to be made especially for nails like this product.<br />** I did not get paid or free products for my review. I did it because I wanted to. Had a lot of fun with it but in beginning can be frustrating if steps are not done correctly. My nails are my own. I had two people ask me where I get my manicure done!!!<br />Have fun with it...best nail product to come around in years.

Love it!! Exactly what I wanted and a great price

I've never used gel polish before, but got some so I could try to get a mirror effect manicure - something I always dreamed of having but was not possible until this kind of powder product. Results were gorgeous, just what I wanted, real mirror effect with the silver powder over black. I used my fingers to apply the powder, and it worked best if rubbed a lot with very light pressure. Harder pressure made my nail look a bit lumpy from pushing the briefly cured gel around, but I still need to practice with gel in general. Two coats of powder looked about the same as one (perfect!) and it wasn't terribly messy to clean up. I used a peel off base coat because the thought of removing gel horrified me and I like to change polish colors pretty often. It worked just fine: the polish was smooth and stayed on but I was able to get under it and pop the color off like a little shiny shell when I wanted it gone :) I am ready to try the other colors, and over different bases, so fun!<br /><br />Honestly, I am posting this review because I'm just so happy to finally have the manicure of my dreams, yes, but more because the packaging was really thoughtful and nice. Everything is pretty, there's a nice storage box with a clear soft plastic cover, reference card with instructions, applicators and a nail wheel for practicing/testing. The powders each have a foil seal to protect the product during shipping. This was a great value and a super nice product.
