Best sunscreen I've used, ever.
I've used numerous sunscreens from the US, but have never had the sense to try out a Japanese brand. I took a chance on this one due to the people over at SCA on Reddit and I'm so glad I did. At first it feels like it will be greasy, but it immediately soaks in and feels velvety. Like another reviewer said, it has a slight alcohol smell at first, but once it's been rubbed into the skin, you don't smell it at all. The only downside is it does take about 3-4 weeks to get here, but that's to be expected since it is shipping from Japan, absolutely worth the wait!

After trying most sunscreens on this continent, I decided to look to Japan for my sunscreen needs. As fair skin is so highly prized in their extremely technologically advanced society, you'd think they would have some exceptional solutions to blocking the sun. They use amazing ingredients that haven't been pushed through America's expensive FDA drug approval processes, but are no less effective and harmless.<br /><br />I ordered 8 different sunscreens from various Japanese brands in my search for the new holy grail sunscreen that moisturized & worked well under makeup. This one is IT my friends! Protects so well and just sinks into your skin--no whiteness at all. Everyone I've gifted it to loves it as well.<br /><br />I have dry skin, so this is perfect for me (and I'd say most people) but this brand (Rhoto) has an oily skin version called Sarafit that was my favorite before I found out they made a dry skin version. The Sarafit was also the only sunscreen that my boyfriend liked out of all of them --"not sticky!" he actually likes how it feels so has become a daily-applier. I'm so proud! A testament to this brand's excellence.<br /><br />I've bought many tubes, each one lasts a long time but they take a friggin month to get here via Amazon so plan ahead and order two..
Light and protective
This is a light moisturizer and slightly cooling.

Lightweight and great protection. My face is soft, no burns for being in sun for a week.
One of my faves
This product was a little heavier than its gel companion, but I did enjoy using. It takes awhile to dry down and does have somewhat of an alcohol scent. Thereโs no cast being that it is entirely chemical. Just be aware if you have oilier skin that this can make you a little greasy looking.
