Bought for my toddlers, they would take them off but for someone older maybe for a young girl.

Great light weight headband. Bought for my 7yr old daughter. I gave her one and kept one for myself. I'm in my 40's and amazed at how many compliments I have received on the headband. When we are together and both wearing the pearls......everyone comments!! Great to dress up an outfit and also cute with casual attire. Pearls go with everything.
